HPE to mount a major showcase at CEBIT 2018

With a showcase filling over 800 square meters (over 8,600 sq. ft.) of space in Hall 12, Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) is taking advantage of the new CEBIT in June to impress a global audience with its expertise in creating tomorrow's added value by means of intelligent and autonomous systems.

Oliver Frese, member of the Deutsche Messe Managing Board, is very pleased about HPE’s strong showing at CEBIT: "We are delighted that Hewlett Packard Enterprise, a global market leader for IT infrastructure, is demonstrating a clear commitment to the new CEBIT in 2018. I am particularly looking forward to seeing the numerous application scenarios it will be showing - scenarios that will not only resonate with a cross-section of all the key topics addressed at CEBIT 2018, but also provide orientation on real-world ways of approaching and accomplishing digital transformation."

Heiko Meyer, General Manager of Hewlett Packard Enterprise Germany, added: "In the future, every machine, every process, every building will be equipped with intelligence. At CEBIT we are aiming to generate enthusiasm for the vast potential arising from this, while at the same time detailing the specifics of how to leverage the resulting opportunities and safeguard companies from the related risks."

The numerous applications covered by HPE include:

Self-repairing production machines, intelligent rooms that guide and operate people, data centers that resolve impending bottlenecks, networked objects which hackers can recognize by their behavior, and innovative computers that compare millions of disease symptoms to find the right medication.

Together with its partners, HPE will be using the CEBIT stage to showcase the technologies, solutions and services which form the basis for these types of applications, including hybrid infrastructures, location-based services, IoT systems, artificial intelligence, blockchain applications and supercomputers. The user can collect and analyze data from the Internet of Things, data centers, and the cloud to derive action recommendations and act on them within fractions of a second.
