CEBIT!signals : Biggest event for creators, influencers & brands

Berlin, Hannover. This coming June, bloggers, influencers, creatives and marketing professionals from all over Europe will have the new CEBIT on their radar, thanks to CEBIT!signals. CEBIT!signals is Europe’s biggest event for influencer marketing and online communication. It premieres at the new CEBIT show in June 2018 and is a joint venture between that event’s organizer, Deutsche Messe, and blogfoster, Germany’s leading platform for influencer marketing.

17 Jan. 2018

On the Friday of CEBIT, more than 60 speakers from Germany and abroad will take the stage (there will actually be two of them) at Signals to present visionary ideas and technologies for influencer marketing.

Dubbed "The Platform for Creators, Influencers & Brands", Signals is taking the place of CEBIT's previous, highly successful blogger and influencer formats, thus giving digital pioneers and unconventional thinkers from around the globe a new environment in which to present and explore hot digital trends with eager audiences.

Influencer marketing is target-group communication at its best

"Signals is not only a new conference format; it's also a logical evolutionary step. It unites CeBIT's and blogfoster's formats and targets social influencers on Instagram, Pinterest, YouTube and blogs – in other words, basically everyone interested in monetizing their social media reach,"explained blogfoster CEO Jan Homann.

Blogfoster's platform automates collaboration between brands and influencers. With over 15,000 successful campaigns to date, blogfoster is the most widely used platform in the market.

For the 2017–2020 period, annual market growth in the field of influencer marketing is predicted to soar to as much as 56%. As such, influencer marketing clearly ranks as today's fastest-growing form of marketing. Simon Staib, blogfoster co-founder and CPO, had this to say about the trend: "Influencer marketing is no passing fad, it is the future of target-group communication – and our objective with Signals is to facilitate dialogue and awareness about this."Blogfoster boasts as many as 35,000 registered blogger and influencer profiles which collectively have a reach of some 60 million unique German-speaking and English-speaking readers.

Plans to grow the new Signals format

Over the years to come, the two organizers intend to greatly expand the Signals format in Germany and internationally. "The partnership with blogfoster is an important part of our strategy to reinvent CEBIT. We are now positioning CEBIT as a business festival for innovation and digitization, so we are focusing more closely on trends that are shaping the future of business and society,"said Oliver Frese, Managing Board member at Deutsche Messe. "We are therefore supplementing CEBIT's tried-and-tested tradeshow content with a number of new elements, including inspirational conference-style events aimed at new target groups. Signals will set new standards in this sense. We have big plans for Signals."These plans include offering year-round satellite events, developing allied events, and internationalizing the Signals format.
