Prescreen was founded around five years ago. Back then, cloud-based applicant management software was not so firmly established in the minds of HR managers. Prescreen's founders noticed there was still no appropriate tool that was attractive but nonetheless highly flexible and adaptable. They and their business angel thus decided to develop precisely such a tool.
The Prescreen pioneers wrote the first lines of code in an old silk factory in the center of Vienna and soon published the first version of their solution, also named Prescreen. KIZOO Technology Capital came on board as an investor in 2015 and helped Prescreen record decisive growth with seed financing. The young company was able to further expand its sales, development and marketing departments and open a second office in Berlin. As XING had also continuously expanded its offering for HR specialists in e-recruitment, the idea came about for the two companies to work together on combining Prescreen with XING e-recruitment products in order to offer recruiters an end-to-end, all-in-one service. Visitors to CeBIT in Hannover can now see for themselves that Prescreen has nonetheless remained an autonomous and independent company, even though it is part of the XING Group.
