1.Rex Services from Kamenice in the Czech Republic is a leading supplier of tracking, monitoring and localization equipment. It’s been setting its sights on fixed and, increasingly, mobile “assets” such as vehicles and people since it started out in 1991. 1.Rex now provides state-of-the-art, end-to-end solutions for tracking people throughout the entire European Union, all of which are designed to be user-friendly and as reliable as possible. At this year’s CeBIT, the company is proudly unveiling its REXpersonal GL300 plug & play GPS system for locating people, which includes an emergency localization function.

The REXpersonal GL300’s range of applications is extremely broad thanks to its minimalist design, improved GPS performance and very long charge life. It can be used to safeguard lone workers, children and people with disabilities, to record sporting performance or to monitor pet animals. The REXpersonal GL300 is a classic plug & play solution that comes ready-fitted with everything you need for tracking, including antennae (GSM and GPS), an acceleration sensor, waterproof casing (IPX5) and the special SOS alarm button for signaling an emergency. As no set-up is required, the system starts sending its position to the REX Online map as soon as it’s switched on.
