Video is a medium whose importance is on the rise, particularly in inbound marketing, where it is a powerful way of generating leads, boosting brand awareness and increasing online engagement. This trend is further supported by the advent of new video functionality in social media – such as autoplay on Twitter and Facebook – and new live streaming services like Periscope and Meerkat .
