With the combination of a modern camera-system and a custom tablet software, Tickaroo On.Air makes the simple yet high quality production of sports livestreams from varying perspectives possible. Now anyone can easily use a tablet for their live coverage needs. This creates brand new opportunities for sports clubs, teams, associations, and media companies. At the Cebit 2017, Tickaroo will be presenting this solution live for anyone to try out.
According to eMarketer Magazin, in 2017 more adults in Germany will use digital media than classic television. For the sports industry, this means new opportunities and possibilities, especially in the area of self-marketing for teams, clubs and associations. Right now, the linear, traditional medias are only able to devote coverage to a limited number of sports.
Today with the variety of internet platforms available, it's possible to cover amateur or niche sports digitally and above all live. These lead to not only “Non Bundesliga Soccer” teams, but also other sports and their teams, presenting themselves more clearly and effectively, thus expanding their fanbases.
The solutions from Tickaroo support the democratization of live sports coverage and help accelerate this trend.
At the CeBIT Scale, Tickaroo will be presenting a livestreaming setup that demonstrates how a high quality livestream, including player information, lineups, points and statistics, can be produced in a professional quality at an affordable price. At our stand, we will be presenting automated coverage of live dart matches, with the help of 2 especially designed camera prototypes. Supported by intelligent Tickaroo technology, these cameras autonomously generate a livestream. For example, points and stats of the current player are automatically displayed on the screen. With a tablet app, the content can easily and intuitively be enhanced and transferred to the various desired channels (social media, homepage, or media provider). With darts as an example, Tickaroo demonstrates how easy the product Tickaroo On.Air is to use. Anyone can experience it for him- or herself and try it out.
Tickaroo developed this solution in-house for multiple sports. Partners include the German Tennis Federation and the sports magazine "kicker".
