The unstoppable digital transformation is leaving no sector untouched and is all-important to the survival of companies of all shapes and sizes. However, for all the opportunities it is bringing there is also a dark side, and organizations must acknowledge the risks and their new obligations, particularly in terms of cyber and data security. After all, it's not just companies that have an interest in keeping data safe - staff and customers need peace of mind, too. That is precisely what Andreas Schweiger, Managing Director of Cyber Security Services at TÜV SÜD, is addressing at CEBIT 2018 in Hannover. Taking to the Cyber Security Expert Stage in Hall 12 at 3.30 p.m. on Wednesday 13 June, Schweiger is talking about "Cyber security as part of the TÜV SÜD digital transformation" (in German).

Another TÜV SÜD Group subsidiary is also at CEBIT to discuss data security in the era of Industry 4.0 and IoT. Munich-based Uniscon GmbH is at Stand A18 in Hall 12 to showcase its sealed cloud platform as the basis for key safety applications. Dr. Ralf Rieken, COO of Uniscon GmbH is also giving a special presentation at 3.30 p.m. on Thursday 14 June. In his speech entitled "Sealed Platform - ultimate security for your data and applications in a cloud centric world", which he is delivering in English on the Cyber Security Expert Stage in Hall 12, Dr. Rieken will be explaining what the Sealed Platform can do.
