There is certainly no shortage of issues keeping ICT managers on their toes right now in companies around the world. One example is the upcoming switchover to all-IP, while companies also need to tackle the megatrend of digital transformation and find appropriate solutions. This is precisely why Ferrari electronic – the specialist for unified communications (UC) – has been continuously expanding its portfolio for some time, so that it can continue to meet the growing demands of the market as effectively as possible. Among the highlights it is exhibiting at CeBIT 2017 in Hannover is the new and improved OfficeMaster Suite 6 UC software.

This package for professional fax, messaging and voicemail communication now has a completely new SAP connector and – thanks to the series-standard inclusion of DirectSIP – is also potentially Germany’s simplest fax solution. Another key feature is the Cloud Connector, which minimizes security risks by omitting SMTP and incoming connections without detracting from overall user friendliness. As a result, it combines secure faxing with a cloud inbox via MS Office 365. The OfficeMaster CallRecording solution, meanwhile, takes into account the new EU "MiFID II" Directive, which will make it a legal requirement for financial sector companies to record telephone consultations from 2018 onward. All that and more is on show this year, with Ferrari electronic exhibiting at two stands in Hall 12: The stand of its channel partner Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise (E32) and the Skype for Business Microsoft partners stand (E24).
