Rebel Discovery: A tool in the search for multipliers

With Rebel Discovery, startup company RebelMouse has developed a new tool that businesses can use to track down the social media accounts that are interested in their shared content. The basic idea is simple: There are usually dozens of Facebook pages and Twitter accounts on almost any topic you can think of, and they rely on a continuous flow of new content. Rebel Discovery helps find them and connect them with the creators.

For every social media post, Rebel Discovery suggests a range of key words. Depending on which ones are chosen, the tool searches the 75 million existing Facebook pages to find those that address this topic. It also shows the number of followers each page has and tries to locate the email address of the page's operator. If that doesn't work, you can also search for it yourself and enter it into the tool.

Social media marketing: Make contact with possible multipliers using Rebel Discovery

Once you've identified enough potential multipliers for your content, you can contact them directly with Rebel Discovery via email, Facebook or Twitter. The manufacturer reports that initial tests resulted in a 20 percent average increase in page views for users of the tool.
