Smart info, not big data

Echobot Sales, a unique smart data application for identifying new B2B leads and reinforcing existing business relationships, is celebrating its premiere at CeBIT 2015 in Hannover.

The only companies that will make it to the top in the future are the ones that manage to use data intelligently. There is an almost unmanageable number of solutions for linking and evaluating internal corporate data – but what about "external information"? One company that knows the answer is Karlsruhe-based Echobot Media Technologies GmbH – and it will be unveiling its new smart data application Echobot Sales for the first time at CeBIT 2015 in Hannover.

With Echobot Sales, the company is one of the first in Germany to venture into the new field of smart data. The innovative web crawler constantly browses the Internet, news sites and a broad range of data sources, looking for business-relevant information that it can then link in real time with an enormous company database in the German-speaking area (Germany, Austria and Switzerland). Thanks to this innovation, it is now possible for the first time to select companies based on up-to-date events such as trade fair participation, business deals and management changes. In this way, customer advisers and sales staff automatically receive details of new contact persons, but also gain an appropriate reason to initiate sales, including a starting point for discussions – and usually well ahead of the competition.
