"Software changes the world," states Johannes Jacop. "Those who want to go along with and mold this transformation also need to deal with the corresponding technology," says the Managing Director of the software company Yatta.
Jacop sees the new Developer World at CeBIT as the perfect platform for this.
"This is where people meet. And it is these people who are successfully implementing digitalization."
How can one lead crucial software projects to success? And how can one manage one’s technology stack for development in a diversified or difficult situation? These are questions that Yatta attempted to answer at CeBIT 2015. Yatta supports companies and public entities in developing software. The company, an Eclipse Solutions Member, simplifies the lifecycle management of software systems and contributes to diverse open source projects.
"Yatta stands for innovative software engineering solutions made in Germany," explains company founder Johannes Jacop. "That's why we can be found wherever our scene – the developer community, opinion and decision makers, project managers, technology boosters and interested parties – gets together." In other words, at CeBIT.
"For us, CeBIT continues to be the leading technology trade show in Germany and Europe. In addition, Heise Developer World shows that Deutsche Messe AG has seen which way the wind is blowing. This exhibition format is supplemented by an interactive conference and enables an intensive exchange of the latest knowledge, trends and topics. A similar format of this size and scope can only be found on the West Coast of the USA," says Jacop.
As a meeting point and market place for software developers, the new Developer World in Hall 11 combines a trade exhibition, networking areas and conference stages focusing on specific topics. "Complemented by a diverse range of fringe events and a café with LAN access, it is the center of the industry for one week and an absolute must for software developers attending CeBIT," says Jacop. As a co-sponsor of Developer World, Yatta invests a great deal in visitor advertising to prepare for the trade show. "Along with press relations, social media input and personally addressing companies and decision-makers we have banded together with other exhibitors," explains the Managing Director of Yatta. The result has been numerous synergies with various technology providers. "Leveraging these, discovering win-win situations, and selectively cooperating with the competition is extremely valuable in the software industry. We were especially successful wherever we were able to accomplish this."
"An overwhelming response in terms of leads, meetings with existing clients and projections for new projects"
was the excellent sum total according to Johannes Jacop. "Our stand at Developer World 2015 was a good start – now we want to expand it." The businessman acknowledges that before the 2015 trade show even ended, Yatta had already decided to participate in 2016. "Like I said, as a software company and technology provider, we are found wherever our scene gets together. And it's clear that it met at CeBIT 15 years ago and it continues to meet there again and again."
