At this year's CEBIT, Olympia Business Systems Vertriebs GmbH is training the spotlight on its innovative developments in safety technology and telecommunication. Its exhibits include the new Mira and Janus cellphones with extra-large dial keys and its ProHome 8762 alarm system, which scored a "very good" rating in this April's ETM TESTMAGAZIN. "The world's most important ICT specialist trade forum offers us the ideal place to forge and strengthen key contacts," says Sven Elvert, Head of Sales at Olympia, adding: "It also motivates us to keep on developing our products!"
The ProHome systems on show in Hannover come equipped with standard accessories, including door and window sensors and can be fitted with other add-ons such as IP cameras, a wireless alarm control keypad and smoke/heat alarms. Olympia points out that the accessories and networked devices are controllable via the ProHome app. Also on show at CEBIT are new models from its Protect series, which have already won the company the prestigious X Award. The ProCom app offers smartphone-based installation, control and operation of the systems using simple, user-friendly menus.
Meanwhile, Olympia is pitching its new Mira and Janus cellphones with large dial keys as reliable travel companions. "These flip phones are intuitive to use, extremely handy and robust, and feature a whole range of functions," explains Elvert. For instance, both are equipped with extra-large dial keys and background lighting, picture dialing, an automatic charging reminder SMS service, a built-in camera and an emergency button. Last but not least, both devices are compatible with hearing aids.
