Hannover, Germany. "Rock the Blog 2017" (Twitter hashtag: #RTB17) will delve deep into the blogosphere and offer a networking hub for bloggers, marketing and PR specialists who are looking for the latest trends and topics in blogging & corporate blogging. This blogger event is being staged jointly by Deutsche Messe and blogfoster, the platform for scalable influencer and blog marketing, on Friday, 24 March, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., on three separate stages in Hall 8.

In 2017 visitors will be treated to a wide variety of topics – from Media & Technology, Automotive and Lifestyle to Finance and Politics & Law. In a series of short presentations, discussion sessions and workshops, more than 50 blog experts, corporate representatives and journalists will speak on the opportunities, tricks and hazards of the blogosphere. On three different stages, visitors can enjoy contributions targeted at incipient bloggers, along with others dedicated to supporting active bloggers in expanding their blogs so they can make money and establish links with business enterprises.

This year's event features more interactive elements than ever. The guests include top blogger Luísa Líon, one of Germany's leading lifestyle bloggers as well as tech blogger Sascha Pallenberg, who left his job at a major automotive company to embrace the independent blogger's life. And corporate bloggers will also be among the speakers, including from the TUI Group and Microsoft Germany. In keeping with 2017 as an election year, political topics will also be on the agenda, including the influence of social media on elections and the role of fake news and social bots in the upcoming German federal elections.

"Rock the Blog" is also offering three consulting stations, which serve as a first port of call for visitors' questions, tips and tricks concerning their own blogs. The "Legal Station" for instance will delve into legal aspects like image rights and copyright law, while the "Social Media" station will answer questions on the finer points of social media. At the "SEO Station" visitors can find out everything there is to know about search engine optimization, including their own "search engine status".

A ticket to "Rock the Blog" costs 70 euros and includes admission to CeBIT on Friday. Further information is available at
