Data Management

On course for collaboration!

One key focus for CeBIT this year is eGovernment. With this in mind, DATEV has created an interactive digital adventure course to showcase different ways of putting the concept of partnership into practice.

16 May. 2018

DATEV eG, a cooperative based in Nuremberg, is one of Europe's largest information service providers and software companies. The International Data Corporation ranks it among the top three suppliers of business software in Germany. The company's 2.5 million customers include tax consultants, auditors, lawyers and a large number of SMEs. All stand to benefit from its huge range of services – from accounting, HR management, business consulting and tax administration right through to organizational processes, enterprise resource planning, IT services and training.

But even this extensive portfolio leaves room for further additions and developments. Turning the vision of "Workplace 4.0" as a productivity hotspot into reality requires solutions with a 360-degree output, delivering the full range of office tools in a single, end-to-end process. Cutting-edge messenger services are particularly crucial when it comes to networking staff, sharing information and enhancing data security. The key concept of social collaboration applies to tax consultants and their business clients as much as, and perhaps more than, anyone else. To demonstrate how this works, DATEV has designed a digital interactive adventure course for CeBIT 2018 in Hannover, with a series of stations presenting the company's solutions for partnership and collaboration. Examples of the innovations on show include digital accounting, digital payroll processes, mobile applications and cloud concepts.
