Founded in 1989, Ferrari electronic is an innovative developer and manufacturer of hardware and software for optimizing unified communications. On show at this year's CEBIT is the company's end-to-end portfolio of solutions for unified communications, unified messaging and call recording. Ferrari electronic is also eager to unveil the future of document sharing - a next-generation file exchange format that it's currently working on to take business communications to a whole new level.
The aim is to enable operators - no matter which hardware they’re using - to send documents via two or more end devices as quickly as e-mails and as (legally) securely as faxes. With this in mind, Ferrari electronic is developing a next-generation document exchange solution that takes the latest International Telecommunication Union (ITU) standards into account. These standards ensure traditional and modern fax processes can communicate reliably with one other and always employ the best transmission method. The processes involved are therefore backward compatible with established fax protocols, thus allowing not only state-of-the-art multifunctional devices but also conventional fax servers and analog fax end devices to accept documents without any additional software or hardware.
