Over an entire week, our stage will cover a variety of topics that move Mittelstand businesses. From its history to tomorrow’s factory - our program offers different forums for exchange between entrepreneurs and experts.
Nahaufnahme Mittelstand inspires through its gripping and diverse talks of renown national and international speakers. The week kicks off with a look into tomorrow’s production with the opinion leader Prof. Dr. Thomas Bauernhansl from the Fraunhofer Institute. On Tuesday, the thought leader Prof. Dr. Peter Winkelmann will give insights on the newest trends in customer relationship and sales management. Wednesday, we have Dr. Nikolaus Förster on stage reading out of the most honest management book "Mein größter Fehler", in which 91 German entrepreneurs admit to their biggest mistakes and what they have learned from them. Afterwards, we will have Prof. Dr.Jeffrey Fear on stage and as a Mittelstand expert he will talk about how a generation shift can be a great opportunity to rethink an existing business model. Digital expert Christian Gülpen from the RWTH Aachen University will discuss what changes digitisation bring to existing business models and uncovers where the chances are. On Friday, Dr. Joachim Bühler from Bitkom e.V. offers 10 specific recommendations for the Mittelstand for digital transformation.
