More convenient, more colorful and even more secure!

DIGITTRADE GmbH is exhibiting at CeBIT 2016 in Hannover with a highly innovative “trilogy” of products – combining social media, eye-catching accessories and high tech.

At the time of the CeBIT 2016 press preview, DIGITTRADE GmbH was already making waves. Bringing with it an 8-cylinder biogas-powered Trabi to promote the Chiffry communications platform, this Teutschenthal-based company has certainly earned its place in the spotlight in Hannover this year. The premium version of Chiffry, an exceptionally convenient solution that allows smartphone users to make secure calls, send encrypted messages and share images, videos and contacts securely, forms part of an innovative “trilogy” of new products that also includes the patented HipDisk. An absolute must for maximum style on the move, the HipDisk is the first USB 3.0 2.5" hard drive with a removable designer cover. Now external hard drives can be transformed into stylish accessories without compromising on protection from water splashes, knocks and dirt.

The trilogy is rounded off with the sales launch of the previously unveiled HS256 S3 high-security hard drive. Faster, more robust and even more secure than its predecessor, the well-established and certified HS256S model, it is ideal for storing personal data in line with data protection requirements. With an elegant metal case and USB 3.0 connection to protect the drive from external influences such as knocks and scratches, internal security is ensured by means of a dual PIN and smartcard authentication process, as well as data encryption with an AES algorithm in XTS mode. Unlike the previous model, the new HS256 S3 uses two encryption codes with a length of 256 bits each, meaning the drive can be used to send sensitive data securely, too.
