Bit for bit, our economies, administration and societies are changing. There is hardly a better place to experience the digital revolution than at the most important market of the digital world: at CeBIT. It is here that companies, SMEs and start-ups from more than 70 countries find a unique platform to showcase themselves as the drivers of new trends.
In no matter what field or administrative sector, success is becoming more and more dependent on the ability to embrace new digital opportunities. The motto of CeBIT 2016 puts it in a nutshell: "d!conomy: join – create – succeed" This year’s exhibition thus once again promises major input for movers and shakers keen to succeed.
This is particularly due to CeBIT’s partner country this year: Switzerland. Our neighbouring country knows how to impress with precision technologies, and that also holds true for digital solutions. As a result, some 60 Swiss companies are showing us what they can do at CeBIT.
I extend a very warm welcome to our guests from Switzerland and from the many other countries of the world. I wish all the exhibitors and visitors from both near and far a successful and informative CeBIT 2016.
