"The potential for innovation and commercially successful new business models today can be found at the interface between various disciplines and industries," says Bayern Innovativ Exhibition Manager Jörg Perwitzschky. Successful innovation management increasingly means "not limiting oneself to one's own research lab and thinkers, but cooperating more with other companies, research facilities and entrepreneurs." Perwitzschky sees CeBIT as the perfect place for these encounters.
"The interaction between IT business and research works perfectly here."
At Bayern Innovativ’s stand in Hall 9 at CeBIT 2015, 20 exhibitors showcased "an innovative cross-section of Bavaria’s commercial and research landscape" – from computer science professorships to IT start-ups. Bavaria’s Ministry of Economic Affairs and Media, Energy and Technology sponsors this display.
"The white-blue joint display from Bayern Innovativ has become a trademark with high recognition value," asserted Jörg Perwitzschky after CeBIT 2015. "The open appearance, the contemporary colors and the use of modern materials have created an excellent platform for marketing innovations." The exhibition manager for Bayern Innovativ sees advantages for technology transfer in Research & Innovation’s upcoming move to Hall 6. "This hall provides ideal surroundings thanks to the proximity of Business Security, SMEs and the Public Sector Parc." The fact that CeBIT’s Partner Country Switzerland has its display here suits Perwitzschky. "It will probably attract numerous political delegations which we can look forward to at CeBIT 2016."
