With the first CeBIT show after the HP-split Hewlett Packard Enterprise shows Industry platforms, architectures and future technologies for digital value creation themed "Accelerating next". HPEs appearance covers the three dimensions of digital transformation: quick market entry of digital innovations, effective transformation of business and IT architectures and planning ahead based on upcoming technological developments.
"He, who wants to persist this digital structural change needs to combine Californian daring with German "Tüftlergeist"". Says Heiko Meyer, Managing Director of Hewlett Packard Enterprise Germany.
"Both creativity and the readiness to assume risks are necessary, to introduce digital innovations quickly – whilst working meticulously on details to set the fundamentals for digital change right. At CeBIT we demonstrate how Hewlett Packard Enterprise supports this change holistically."
The industry platforms presented bridge the gap between the physical and the digital world, accelerate the entry into the digital creation of value and open up new business models. Part of that are the Avatar Platform – a business model prototype for fashion, gaming and healthcare – an IoT Platform for the connected car (IoT = Internet of Things) and a complete solution for managing wind parks.
As every other digital business platform these industry applications are based on new concepts and architectures with regards to infrastructure, security, analytics as well as the man-machine interface. Based on these pillars of digital value creation HPE demonstrates at CeBIT transformation roadmaps, solutions and customer showcases and demos. These include the collaborate conference room made from glass, which connects physical objects, IT systems and workflows enabling the user to manage applications with voice and movement to interact with colleagues virtually.
The third dimension of HPEs CeBIT presences are technologies that build the brain and nervous system of digital value creation. The exhibits at the HPE booth demonstrate the development from the presence to the future: todays HPE systems for data centers, networking and the cloud to the revolutionary IoT compute achritecture "The Machine".
