Goodbye to cumbersome monitors!

At just six grams and slightly less than four square centimeters, the cosinuss° One in-ear heart rate monitor is the smallest and lightest pulse monitor in the world. All the same, it is the first device to deliver optical heart rate tracking that is just as accurate as its electric counterparts.

cosinuss GmbH specializes in manufacturing innovative in-ear solutions for the continuous monitoring of vital signs while on the move. Using its own platform technology - known as earconnect - cosinuss produces market-specific wearables that record heart rate, body temperature and/or blood oxygen levels for use in the medical, sport and occupational health & safety sectors. The latest addition to the up-and-coming company's range is cosinuss° One, the world's smallest and lightest heart rate monitor, which it showcased at CEBIT 2018 in Hannover.

This in-ear device offers a comfortable alternative to the chest straps that are so unpopular with many athletes. According to its developers, besides using the 'circummission' method to monitor the wearer’s heart rate, the cosinuss° One also reliably records heart rate variability and body temperature. This tiny six-gram-light device then sends digitized data wirelessly to any devices that can be paired with it via Bluetooth low energy or Ant+. Thanks to the One, optical heart rate measurement is set to be just as accurate as electric alternatives.
