Digitalization – one-size-fits-all or made-to-measure?

Software AG is at CeBIT 2016 with its customers and partners to advocate an end to standard IT and promote localized, flexible and agile programming.

"How can companies deal with digitalization and make sure they get their slice of the many new business opportunities presenting themselves?" That is the question that Software AG, along with partners including T-Systems, Capgemini, Pepperl+Fuchs and Scheer, is seeking to answer at CeBIT 2016. After all, digitalization is much more than a short-term phenomenon. The Software AG stand focuses on new business models and lean business processes and which products and services need to be customized so that companies can keep up with the fast-paced and global digital markets.

At CeBIT 2016 in Hannover, Software AG is advising businesses to turn away from standard IT in favor of localized, flexible and agile programming and is exhibiting technologies and application scenarios that can support a successful transition to a genuine digital company. Given the wide-ranging requirements and demands that are out there, digitalization comes in many different shapes and forms, and there is no one-size-fits-all solution – which is why Software AG is showcasing its Digital Business Platform 2.0 at CeBIT. Developed in-house, this platform offers exactly the kind of flexibility needed for all application scenarios at the interfaces between industry, consumers and social networks.
