As a trade fair, conference and networking event, the new CEBIT 2018 in Hannover aims to offer a 360° perspective of digitization in companies, public authorities and society. Godelef Kühl, the founder and CEO of godesys AG, aims to showcase what his company can do: "The new-look summer CEBIT is drawing near and we're looking forward to really getting our teeth into exciting trends, user experiences and potential solutions. The digital revolution calls for ever-faster, seamless communication between staff, partners and customers. That is precisely what godesys ERP delivers. We don't just want to give users the tools for tackling current challenges, we also want to provide relaxed and strategic approaches that will help them really embrace digitization and harness its full potential."
Version 5.6 Release 4 of godesys ERP is being unveiled in Hannover, and is the company'’s next step in its own consistent approach to the end-to-end design, management, measurement and automation of digital business processes. Available from this summer, Release 4 features an uncluttered user interface with clear color coding and icons that make it easier to use and therefore help companies drive forward their own digital transformation. The new release is also the first version to support the new virtual workspace technology from godesys AG. Users are free to choose whether they want to use their ERP installation as a Windows-based app or via any HTML5 browser. That makes the ERP system a cross-browser/cross-device application that can be used on a desktop PC, mobile device or via the Internet, thus offering a seamless and productive user experience without requiring browser plugins or an expensive VDI solution. The godesys virtual workspace is available to cloud customers from July 2018 at no extra cost and will likely be available to on-premises customers from early 2019.
