Where is digitalization taking the healthcare sector? Will patients point the way? The CeBIT Digital Summit on March 22, 2017 is asking these questions.

Slowly but surely a drama is unfurling before our eyes. One of the largest economic sectors in the country – a field that is of major importance to everyone – is at the brink of major, lasting changes: The digital transformation of the healthcare sector has begun.

d!conomy Healthcare is addressing these changes. Within the context of the "global event for digital business" the summit will highlight the sources, risks and opportunities of digitalization. In keynotes and workshops, renowned scientists and researchers together with CeBIT visitors will examine what integrated healthcare means to all participants. The conference will be held in German.

Prof. Dr. Hagen Pfundner, Member of the Board Roche AG, Chairman of the BDI Committee for the Healthcare Economy, explains "Paradigm Changes Due to Digital Health: What Needs to be Done Now."

Prof. Dr. Andréa Belliger, Prorector, Pädagogische Hochschule Lucerne, Director of the professional decree course 'eHealth - Digital Health' at the Institute for Communication and Management. Her topic is: "Cultural Transformation Due to Digital Health: What Should Be Done Now".

Panel members for the political discussion "What Do We Want to Do to Enhance Potential?" are Prof. Dr. Karl Lauterbach, Deputy Parliamentary Party Leader for the SPD, Prof. Dr. med.
