The increasing popularity of online transactions set Crashtest Security on a mission to enhance security in web applications. Vast amounts of often sensitive data are currently recorded and processed to facilitate online payments and reservations - and, if everything goes well, safeguarded against attacks. This is precisely where Crashtest Security comes into play. Its software is designed to scan entire web-based programs to reveal data security loopholes, which it then analyzes and securely closes by drawing on information from a public error database.

The fledgling company rightly identifies data protection as a hot topic - and not just for the specialist community. After all, small businesses and private website operators need to protect their own data as much as that of their customers and visitors. That's why the Crashtest Security solution is aimed at any website operator who needs to protect personal data. During the scanning process, the application infiltrates the website to unearth any vulnerabilities. Machine learning algorithms should help the application to become increasingly adept in overcoming obstacles and recognizing security loopholes in all manner of ways. Using the information on errors held in a public database, a report determines how urgently each must be dealt with, which helps operators to quickly and efficiently resolve any issues. The Crashtest Security team is keenly working on certifying its product to offer customers a universally recognized security status. What’s more, the team is broadening its horizons to help large businesses safeguard their all-important data, too.
