"Visitors who want to use CeBIT for important input into electronic invoicing and other digital office issues should allow for enough time in Hall 3," says Frank Früh. "That’s where we will be taking an in depth look at of how SMEs in particular can improve their business processes using Enterprise Content Management," says the Head of ECM at the digital industry association Bitkom.
The CeBIT ECM Forum – organized by Deutsche Messe AG and Bitkom – is at the center of the " ECM, Input/Output Solutions " cluster. Under the title "ECM digitalizes economy!" the latest issues and developments for the digital office will be discussed. Highlights include a panel talk regarding the future European standard that is being developed by the European Committee for Standardization (CEN), talks on new forms of invoicing, and a presentation on Friday where young startups explain how they are planning to capture the market with their ECM-based solutions.
The 60 panel discussions and presentations at the ECM Forum are divided into six themes: "Invoices pay off – Optimizing invoicing using ECM software", "Working in practice – digital files and other application examples", "Mobile makes it possible – mobile work and the availability of information anywhere", "Send me a mail – digital collaboration and optimized processes", "Knowledge in, knowledge out – Input and output management in document management systems" as well as "Everything’s is possible – but what is permitted? – compliance and standards in ECM."
