The representatives of all other sectors are 10% less optimistic.
Deloitte sees potential applications for the intelligent algorithms in three areas, automating business processes, analyzing huge amounts of data and making business decisions based on them, as well as improving communication with customers. Deloitte listed the streaming provider Netflix as a well-known example of AI-optimized customer communications. It relies on artificial intelligence in order to propose specific series and films to the users from its huge offer that correspond to their interests.
A study by the market research institute IDC proves that artificial intelligence is on the rise beyond the mentioned sectors as well, especially in Germany. For example, banks and insurance companies are already using intelligent algorithms as solutions for claims management and fraud detection.
