The solution, which the two software developers 1CRM and Bilendo offer jointly, is especially suitable for small and medium-sized companies. Payments received are also monitored and reminders sent automatically in case of default.

The term "Customer Relation Management" sounds customer-friendly. But the innovation that 1CRM and Bilendo have come up with will not make delinquent customers happy. The two companies are integrating a plugin from Bilendo into the 1CRM software , which is used in many small and medium-sized companies as part of their Customer Relation Management (CRM), including marketing, sales, and logistics. The new plugin now also enables the digitization of accounts receivable. After invoicing, the outstanding payments will be monitored automatically, including the recognition of installments. In the event of default, a debt-collection process is initiated. Bilendo and 1CRM describe their software partnership as a promising approach, since creating this development on their own would have cost each company much more time and money.

In a European comparison, German companies are lagging behind with regard to the digitization of their debt-collection system, according to an EOS study from last year. Of the surveyed participants in Germany, only 3% stated that they had already fully completed this modernization. By contrast, it was 25% in France and 19% in the Czech Republic.
