The Swedes are exhibiting at CeBIT 2017 under the banner "Smart security solutions to meet all needs". Axis Communications is showcasing surveillance-related security solutions at the stand of its partner Synology, a leading company in network-attached storage (NAS), and is focusing on "ACAP" functions. The acronym refers to applications developed on the back of the open AXIS Camera Application Platform for network cameras and video encoders, such as AXIS Crossline Detection and AXIS Perimeter Defender.
As the global market leader in video networking and with a workforce of over 2,100 spread across more than 50 countries, Axis Communications is focused on channeling its unstinting technological innovation into the continuous technical development of network products. As all Axis products are based on an open platform, the company values long-term relations with the global partners it supplies with pioneering network products and technical expertise for existing and new markets. It's the customers who ultimately benefit from this global partnership network - and the A1001 Network Door Controller is just one of the products they can check out in action as part of the Synology Surveillance Station at this year's CeBIT in Hannover. The network-based door controller is a non-proprietary platform for access controls that is open to third-party software and suitable for extended company networks and smaller-scale systems alike.
