Female executives are missing not only in top management positions of large companies, but also at the top of IT organizations. However, only with strong and experienced women, IT location Germany can survive within the international competition on a medium and long term view!

Essentially an awareness for women in leading positions has to be created that is not only collectively and socially accepted but also based on all-encompassing economical perspectives. No economy in the world can afford to neglect half of the available resources in terms of sustainable growth in the age of globalization. An interdisciplinary network of women IT leaders play a crucial role in order to achieve a step by step change in the collective awareness of female quality in business operations.

For this reason, Deutsche Messe and Women's IT Network joined forces to realize the first WOMEN IN DIGITAL BUSINESS Congress at CeBIT 2015. They are supported by Fujitsu, SAP, Software AG and Simplivity.

High-class speaker such as Maggie Fox, Senior Vice President Digital Marketing, SAP or Dr. Joseph Reger, Chief Technology Officer, Fujitsu EMEIA talk e.g. about Leadership or Digital Transformation. Further Congress topics are: Diversity, (continuing) education, business creation, career planning and IT themes such as Cybercrime or Internet of Things. This is not only presented through keynotes but also in interactive formats like think tanks and world cafés that that invite you to exchange knowledge and experience. Obviously networking is on the agenda as well.

The event will end with the participation at the BITKOM Executive Night.
