in-tech engineering GmbH is showcasing more than its smart healthcare app at CeBIT 2017 – its entire spectrum of apps and customized software solutions is also on show.
Illnesses rarely appear overnight or out of the blue. Many health problems creep up on us slowly and need not develop into serious issues at all – providing the right measures are taken in good time. The question is how to convince people to act in their own best interest?! As part of the "Health Region of Goslar" initiative, which includes a new website to provide a clear overview of local doctors and preventive healthcare services, Goslar local authorities teamed up with engineering company in-tech and Clausthal University of Applied Sciences to design a customized heath app. And they’re unveiling this smart solution at the pavilion run by Lower Saxony’s Ministry for Science and Culture at CeBIT 2017 in Hannover.
"Our intuitive personal preventive healthcare app is designed to ease access to health services – and you don’t even need to know German," says Dr. Lutz Kelch, the in-tech branch manager for Braunschweig and Wolfsburg. Operating the iOS-compatible app really is child’s play. A diagram showing the human body and organs in layers helps users select the right topics with ease. They can call up information about the preventive health services for any part of the body and even access the contact details for local health specialists, if required. What’s more, the app can be tuned to gender and age to compile personal preventive healthcare plans, which will hopefully encourage people to make use of the services on offer to them.
