The developers of startup Scicovery reckon they are showcasing the most powerful and intuitive ever online platform for market research and the sciences at CeBIT 2017.
LABVANCED is the name of the new system developed by Scicovery's scientists and cloud specialists with the aim of tapping the potential of the cloud environment to optimize study design, data collection and data analysis. At the stand run by Osnabrück University's Institute of Cognitive Science, the fledgling company is showing CeBIT visitors how its browser-based application works - and, as they claim, revealing a level of quality that was previously only attainable using local applications.
LABVANCED is aimed primarily at providing market researchers and scientists with a graphic interface for performing either simply structured or complex studies without any need for further programming. Its developers say the advantages of Scicovery's LABVANCED solution over laboratory studies and online competitors include the ability to record data more quickly and cost-effectively, share study designs and use templates, and automatically translate text to enable direct data collection worldwide. All these factors help companies take new markets by storm. Additional features such as emotion recognition, eye tracking via webcam and the automated visualization and statistical analysis of data round off this impressive package. In fact, its creators are confident that LABVANCED is the most technologically advanced system there is for online studies - and visitors to CeBIT may well soon be agreeing with them.
