This year at the Salesforce World Tour @ CeBIT, Salesforce will be offering a unique program for founders and start-ups. Every day on the Salesforce stage, the top entrepreneurs of tomorrow will reveal how they are changing the world with extraordinary ideas and new technologies. In the SME Theater in Hall 9, the Salesforce start-up experts will discuss how they have helped small-scale players get off the ground.

"That's why we offer founders more than mere technology – we regard ourselves as investment partners, consultants, as a platform for dialogue and learning, and ultimately as a companion on the way to becoming successful, stable companies that give back to society."
The Salesforce World Tour 2017 @ CeBIT will offer founders and others who are interested a stage for exchange with exciting and inspiring guests. From March 20-24, the most innovative start-ups will share their experiences, offer tips and tricks, point out obstacles on the way to founding companies and discuss the most burning questions of companies currently moving into the start-up phase.
Whether social entrepreneurs or pioneers of the Internet of Things, all start-ups have one thing in common: they want their innovative ideas to change the world, maybe even making it a little bit better.
A great idea arose from the current situation, need and desire to give refugees a perspective in Germany. Job4refugees is the social start-up that helps displaced people find work and training, and connects them with potential employers.
Another great example of social responsibility coupled with the entrepreneurial spirit was behind Green City Solutions . Aiming to make our planet a better place, the social start-up wants to unite nature with the Internet of things and fight pollution with vertical gardens called City Trees, ensuring cleaner and cooler city air.
Besides social and communal commitment, technological innovations are also changing our lifeworld, creating added value for the future. The founders of HRLab have introduced a centralized personnel and analysis platform that synchronizes all data as a cloud-based HR software, comprehensively automating operational tasks and recording them in a platform. The broker start-up MacMakler has the lucrative real estate sector in sight and bundles its offer from real estate rentals to sales through a central platform solution. The start-up handles the entire broker portfolio of tasks from the preparation of exposés and showing of the premises to handing over the key.
The founders of ON AG are fueled by real passion and a strong vision. The former elite runner Olivier Bernhard and his two friends are passionate runners who didn’t just dream of developing the perfect running shoe – they did it. The breakthrough came in 2010 with a prototype from garden hose parts – a running shoe as light as a feather and that feels like running on clouds. It laid the cornerstone for an extraordinary Swiss success story in the highly competitive sports equipment market which has now seen over two million pairs of the featherlight running shoe sold.
The start-up Smarter Ecommerce (smec) , which inspires with futuristic technology in the area of eCommerce with its pay-per-click management software, is developing new technologies for software-based SEA management and further developing the online marketing strategies of their customers. They also rely on innovative solutions from Salesforce.
At SCALE11, CeBIT's start-up hall, innovative start-ups will present in a total of 17 Community Areas. They will be supported by well-known Community Captains from the business world. Salesforce will be Community Captain for Big Data, Cloud and Software as a Service this year and, along with the start-ups, will help shape the cloud and big data market with inspiring ideas and concepts. In addition, the Salesforce start-up experts in Hall 9 will present concrete examples in short demos of how SMEs can find new customers and win them over the long term with Salesforce.
Whoever is successful has a defeat or two behind them. It is important to learn from failure and to take new paths after making wrong decisions. On Tuesday from 5 pm, companies will report on the little and big stumbling blocks they have come across in their professional careers. The aim of F***up Nights is to find in the fear of failure the courage to emerge stronger from mistakes.
Some founders are already getting excited in the leadup to the trade fair. Whoever is fast enough can now register for the start-up tour and get together with other founders free of charge with FlixBus from Berlin or Hamburg to CeBIT in Hanover. Here, young entrepreneurs will get the chance to network with peers in person, discover similarities and share experiences.
