See in the dark.

Nothing escapes the sight of Arlo Q! Netgear is bringing the latest addition to the award-winning family of Arlo smart home cameras to CeBIT 2016 in Hannover and demonstrating how Arlo Q’s 4MP image sensor and integrated night vision function help it capture even the slightest movements in the dark – in razor-sharp 1080p HD quality.

The brand-new Arlo Q 1080p HD security camera with audio (VMC3040) is designed to keep a careful eye on the people and places that matter most – day and night. Smart homes can be made even more intelligent by connecting the network-operated Arlo Q with an existing WLAN network, a process that couldn’t be easier: The accompanying app generates a QR code on a smartphone or tablet, which Arlo Q then reads and verifies. Its designers at Netgear are confident the device is so easy to install that everything – including sound and motion settings – can be configured in a matter of minutes. Sound too good to be true? Head along and see for yourself at CeBIT 2016.

However, the Arlo Q network camera isn’t just easy to operate – its 4MP image sensor and integrated night vision function make it a true visionary that can notify users of the slightest movement even in total darkness – and all in razor-sharp 1080p HD quality. This makes it ideal for use in youngsters’ bedrooms, for example, not least because its integrated two-way audio function means it can be used just like a baby intercom. Not only can audio recordings be made at any time, but users can also talk to anyone within range of the Arlo Q. What’s more, the Arlo Q can be set to automatically transmit an alarm to iOS or Android devices if it senses any sound or movement. Children will just have to hope their parents leave them in peace when they’re reading under the bed covers!
