Salesforce is the first and only company to dedicate the first day of its presence at CeBIT to giving back to the local community. The company will offer multiple volunteering opportunities on-site, beginning Monday, 14 March. Opportunities include tree planting in cooperation with Plant-for-the-Planet, a non-profit organisation that will plant trees in Hannover, as well as a BYOD (Bring Your Old Device) drive created by Stifter-helfen.de, which refurbishes and donates old devices to charitable organizations in Germany. Additionally, in continued support of STEM programming in DACH, Salesforce.org will host a CoderDojo—a coding club for young people—right on the CeBIT floor, where attendees can learn more about using their skills to help develop the workforce of the future.
