SAP is launching its "Run Live. Run Simple." campaign to promote real-time commercial collaboration based on in-depth networking, a move that dovetails with CeBIT 2017 headline "d!conomy - no limits".
There are companies that follow trends, and then there are a few companies that set them. German software giant SAP is undoubtedly in the second category. All the same, even trendsetters have to pay careful attention to where the market is going, and SAP has certainly done just that. The slogan "Run Live. Run Simple" stands for a paradigm shift, one that the software specialists will be breaking down in detail at CeBIT 2017 in Hannover.
Till then, we'll have to content ourselves with teasers, such as the clue that “real time” is central to the concept. Everyone will be familiar with those two short words, but of course the "real time" we know in IT is pretty much the same as the "right away" a husband responds with when asked to take out the trash... SAP is talking about "real time" in the literal sense. It's about companies operating in genuine "real time" across the board. It's about employees, products, units and customers that aren't just communicating, but are actually networked with each other via countless, fast-flowing data streams. Visitors to the SAP stand at CeBIT 2017 will be able to see for themselves how the whole process will work.
