Audi Knowledge Tank – Service and Training Portal
This Global Service Training Portal of Audi was implemented in Microsoft Azure by Noxum GmbH with their Content Delivery solution.
The service lives on highly qualified employees and rapidly available information. It is precisely within the automotive sector, whose marks are measured to a high degree in terms of service quality, that the qualification process of service employees, sales specialists and technicians must be especially efficient: the Audi Service Training ensues according to a clear-cut training concept.

The data and information of these different information sources are captured in the Audi Knowledge Tank and provided in different formats over a number of project phases (Web, PDF, PPT, WBT). Technicians and service personnel in the global Audi workshops can search for relevant contents for each vehicle type by means of a modern full-text search and narrow the results, filtering over the various features. Each user can thereby compile his individual documentation online or offline and collaborate with colleagues.
The content delivery is powered in Microsoft Azure by a hybrid web-mobile concept for scalable distribution of the information building blocks that is designed for the continuous extension of future professional and technical requirements.
The data is managed centrally and media-neutral in an XML format in the Content Management and PIM System of Noxum. Besides the multiple use of the contents, the maintenance of relational knowledge enables the intelligent linkage of related information modules i.e., e.g. videos, WBTs, and self-study-programs with training modules, qualification paths, components and vehicle models.
The portal is used for the Integrated Digital Training of the entire Audi Training Concept: i.e. both for the training on vehicles in the importer schooling as well as for self-study in the framework of Train-the-Trainer concepts and for the certification of the employees.
20 years experience in content management, extranet, Intranet and mobile Apps flow into the Content Delivery technology of Noxum. Dynamic portals and content platforms can be implemented with the standard software of Noxum and modern web technology. Noxum and customer software can be integrated for online and offline distribution. Noxum has gathered expertise on online systems and the deployment of multimedia data as well as Cloud Computing in Microsoft Azure from large projects with Porsche and the Stiftung Warentest as well as from other renown customers.
