In the Digital Office Area, companies can discover more about their digitization needs and find a matching CeBIT exhibiter.
How digital is my company – and how competitive? Where could I be more effective, more productive, better? CeBIT visitors can get answers to questions like these at the Digital Office Area in Hall 3. At Stand B17 Germany's digital association Bitkom is offering live benchmarking. The specially developed online tool is based on the Digital Office Index created by Bitkom Research and can be used via iPads installed at the Bitkom stand.
"This is a unique opportunity for a company to find out how digital it already is in comparison to its competitors," says Frank Früh, Head of the ECM Department at Bitkom. "Best of all, this benchmarking is live. That means you can immediately see which digital themes you might need to tackle in more depth in order not to lose ground in terms of digitization, or to miss the boat completely," explains Früh. "To give one example, if you are below the market average in the use of electronic invoices, then you get a direct recommendation about who at CeBIT can help you further with this."
The Digital Office Area in Hall 3 shows CeBIT visitors different ways of using Enterprise Content Management (ECM) to render their business processes simpler, more efficient, and more economical. Under the slogan "No limits – Totally digital with ECM" Bitkom has designed the area as a meeting place for software users and providers. Besides solutions for data capture, document management, and archiving, the Digital Office Area also features a café space for networking. The "discover d!conomy tour" pays a call at the Digital Office Area, too. At the forum here, the Digital Office Stage (Hall 3, B06), visitors can attend lectures and podium discussions about current trends and themes in the digitization of office and administrative processes. You can also experience successful examples of digital transformation in practice at "Bitkom Hub @ CeBIT" in Hall 4 (C58).
