Anyone who has lost valuable time integrating a USB device into a network has learned the virtue of patience. Now, at last, the myUTN-2500 USB device server that SEH is exhibiting at CeBIT 2017 is set to save all the bother.
SEH Computertechnik GmbH itself bills this CeBIT innovation as "the business solution for USB independence". Indeed, the myUTN-2500 USB device server is designed as a fast, user-friendly, reliable way to connect virtually any USB device to a network on a simple "plug & play" basis. Once the device server is integrated into the network, its SEH UTN Manager software can be used to manage all connected USB devices just as if they were attached locally to a PC.
The myUTN-2500 thus provides an exceptionally flexible way of managing a wide range of USB devices via the network - from external hard drives, flash drives, scanners and gauges right through to medical equipment, RDX removable disks, multifunction peripherals, cameras and telephone systems. With this in mind, the myUTN-2500 is fitted with three USB 3.0 SuperSpeed ports, one of which also serves as a charging point for mobile devices. Not only that, but SEH has placed major emphasis on high data throughput rates from the client to the USB device, as well as on the enterprise security credentials ensured through a range of interlinked measures. What's more, the myUTN-2500 serves as an ideal solution for virtualized network environments such as Citrix Xen, VMWare and Microsoft Hyper-V, and is also suited to server-based environments including Citrix XenApp and Microsoft Remote Desktop Services/Terminal Services.
