It is still a long road ahead before small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) are truly digitalized. Up to now, only some 20% of SMEs have actually begun the process of digitally integrating their products and services. The new Digital Road Map from CeBIT provides decision-makers at small and medium-sized enterprises with a valuable guide on how best to go about achieving digital transformation.
- The CeBIT "Digital Road Map" provides support for small and medium-sized enterprises heading for digital transformation
Hannover, Germany. The digital transformation of the economy and society is proceeding apace - only small and medium-sized enterprises are not yet entirely onboard. But it is especially these SMEs who need to chart a course to develop and implement their digitalization strategies. Otherwise they stand to lose market share and face an insecure future. This is where CeBIT comes in, supporting SMEs by providing them with a detailed "Road Map".
Produced in A4 format, the brochure presents a series of milestones for checking a company’s progress as well as a map of CeBIT exhibitors dedicated to supporting and advising SMEs on how to achieve their digital goals. The CeBIT Digital Road Map was created with the help of publishing and consulting enterprise G+F Verlags- und Beratungs- GmbH.
The Digital Road Map is designed to help small and medium-sized enterprises undertake the steps toward digital transformation in an ideal way. This process however cannot take place overnight - a successful digital transformation always requires an extended period of time. The Road Map helps companies see exactly where the journey begins. It queries them on 10 different factors, allowing entrepreneurs to know right from the start where they stand and the next steps that are needed.
The brochure also includes an exhibition map for CeBIT visitors, with an overview of the stands where more than 40 exhibitors who are involved in supporting the digital transformation of SMEs can be looked up.
The Digital Road Map for SMEs is available in print at CeBIT entrances and info counters and can also be downloaded as a PDF file at www.cebit.de/digital-roadmap .
