From a traditional telecoms manufacturer to an all-IP provider – many things have changed at Auerswald. Its return to CeBIT fits this transformation perfectly.
CeBIT? From 2009 to 2014 participation was not an issue at Auerswald. "The migration of traditional telecommunications into IT structures was not adequately addressed," criticizes Heinz Ludwig, Marketing Manager at Auerswald GmbH & Co. KG. "But then we observed how themes, exhibitors, hall set-up and visitor quality developed in the direction we desired," says Ludwig.
"That is why we exhibited again at CeBIT in 2015."
In print and online advertisements, on social media, using Google AdWords, e-mails and letters, Auerswald informed its customers about its return. It worked. "We had the best response from Facebook posts and e-mails," reports Ludwig.
"At our stand our expectations regarding quality and the number of visitors were entirely fulfilled. We were able to make new contacts to subsequently develop new business relationships, especially with IT systems firms,"
Both the current product orientation towards All-IP as well as the technology areas met with great interest, according to Ludwig.
The new products that Auerswald brought to CeBIT 2015 include All-IP enabled PBX for SMEs, IP telephones with Android, expanded voice bandwidth for IP telephones and software expansions to integrate IP cameras. VoIP integration and security were also important keywords at the company’s stand at Communication & Networks (Hall 13).
"Our presentation within the appropriate theme and exhibitor environment at CeBIT contributed appreciably to our ability to free ourselves from the traditional telecoms environment and be perceived as a provider of modern telecoms solutions," declares Heinz Ludwig. "We will strategically establish this orientation over the long term," says the Marketing Director.
"At CeBIT 2016 Auerswald will focus even more on the lead theme All-IP."
