abas Software AG is exhibiting at CeBIT 2016 with a live robot demonstration that shows how effectively business software can be integrated into industry manufacturing processes.
For many years now, Karlsruhe-based abas Software AG has been one of Germany’s hidden champions, pursuing its own highly successful expansion even beyond European borders. Worldwide, over 3,300 companies now use abas ERP systems and can thus count on the support and experience of some 1,000 abas experts at 65 locations in 29 different countries. This year, abas is at CeBIT in Hannover with live demonstrations that show just what the hot topics of Industry 4.0 and the Internet of Things mean in practice for SMEs in the manufacturing industry.
The abas Industry 4.0 specialists are also bringing a small Transformers-style abas robot along to help them. The aim is to demonstrate how effectively robots can already communicate with ERP systems and to showcase high-quality solutions for SMEs in the manufacturing industry. However, this certainly isn’t the only highlight at the abas stand in Hall 5 – also on show is the updated 2016 version of the abas ERP software. Equipped with a new business intelligence system, the software can illustrate business developments and potential as well as risks in photo-realistic animations, turning abstract concepts into visualized scenarios.
