To coincide with CeBIT 2017, Huawei, one of the world’s leading suppliers of information technology and telecommunications solutions, has announced a new partnership with Software AG - in a perceptive response to the growing demand for end-to-end IoT solutions.
Huawei and Software AG are joining forces to deliver the combined hardware and software package required for cloud-based IoT platforms and streaming-analytics functions on the periphery of the IoT. The aim is to speed up operational and strategic decisions and measures and to make companies more flexible and efficient at implementing them. "The capabilities and solutions presented by Software AG help us maximize the value of the IoT and make it accessible for our customers wherever they need it. This enhancement fits seamlessly into our vision," says Vincent Peng, President of Huawei's Western European Region. "This collaboration reflects our sustained commitment to forging partnerships for constructing ecological cloud systems with the aim of ensuring our European customers' success." The new partnership will initially focus on Europe. But it goes further than that, as by cultivating this cutting-edge partner network, both companies are seeking to complement and round off their portfolio. Thus to further this aim, they plan to bring additional partners on board with specialist knowledge of integration and the requisite technical expertise.
