RTB Satellites

20. January 2016 - Employee Advocacy: An Essential Brand Communication Strategy

On January 20th 2016, the second #RTB satellite took place at Hanover’s Gig. Tobias Röver of Microsoft, Mattias Drefs of Oracle and Marylin Montoya of Sociabble introduced the latest trends in corporate communication and employee engagement: trends that will be explored in greater depth at the upcoming CeBIT conference. more

The very first Rock the Blog Satellite was held at the Game Science Center, Berlin, on 17 November. The event was dedicated to big data, privacy and transparency.

As topics go, that’s white-hot, given that just two weeks earlier at the VDZ Publishers’ Summit, German Chancellor Angela Merkel had dubbed data "the raw material of the 21st century" and made the widely reported comment that "we must take care to ensure that data protection does not gain the upper hand over the commercial processing of data." Against this background, Markus Beckedahl, Richard Gutjahr and Klaus Eck used the Satellite to discuss fundamental rights, data usage and Google and Facebook. here
