Data utilization is a basis of welfare for all human beings through solutions for social problems, initiating further innovation and achieving economic growth. This trend is important because the amount of data transactions is increasing at an explosive pace in line with the revolution of the Internet of Things (IoT).
We now live in the era of "Digital Data Democracy": a future data governance committed to the shared principle that data should be usable to the public. How should we compete for survival in such a period?
Japan has a strong willingness to play a leading role in this era through collaboration with partners with shared values such as Germany, bringing to the table Japan’s originality, "Another Perspective".
In Japan Summit, Japan will introduce the advantages offered by Japanese enterprises from big companies to SMEs and start-ups, as well as innovative individuals. Based on all of the above, Japan is putting on display its resolve and its concrete activities toward creating "Society 5.0": a new world consisting of a super smart society which maximizes use of IoT by integrating cyber and physical spaces.
The Japan Summit is aimed at exhibitors and visitors with an interest in the development of an innovative digital society from a Japanese perspective.
Attendance is free of charge for CeBIT exhibitors and visitors. However, all attendees are required to register.
