Women in agriculture may live rurally, but they are certainly not behind the times.
This is a particularly attractive proposition for women living in rural areas with an interest in IT. As part of a model project sponsored by the German government and the European Social Fund, many women have received training in IT and the Internet with a view to acting as IT specialists for other women based in the countryside. The training includes basic tips on the monitor and mouse, skills in PC-based association management and user training for specific programs. NLV members can get the free trade fair tickets from their local association branches.
