The strongest event in years

CeBIT, the world's leading event for digital business, continued to gain in quality this year, which especially benefited the start-ups among the 4,000 companies that participated in 2013.

Poland, this year's Partner Country , used CeBIT 2013 to firmly establish itself as one of the world's high tech nations. With its top theme, Shareconomy, CeBIT triggered discussions throughout the world’s digital economy.


The CeBIT Global Conferences – with 75 hours of international programming on three stages, 103 speakers from all over the world, and a unique mix of topics - was the digital world’s most important conference event and think tank.


The next CeBIT will run from March 10 to 14, 2014.

This year marks the premiere of the CeBIT Innovation Award. More than 70 R&D scientists submitted entries in the categories of Design, User-Friendliness and Human-Machine Interaction. The German Federal Minister of Economics and Technology, Professor Johanna Wanka, today presented 100,000 euros-worth of prizes to the four winners.

CeBIT 2013, the world’s biggest shop window on the ICT industry, is now officially open. German Federal Chancellor Angela Merkel and the 2,500 invited guests at the Opening Ceremony previewed this year’s keynote themes.
