Paul-Henri Ferrand leads the global marketing organization for Dell's Consumer and Small and Medium Business (CSMB) organization. Mr. Ferrand is responsible for all the elements of marketing within the CSMB business, including defining marketing strategy, driving the Brand across all segments, leading global segmentation, CRM and Messaging activities and managing demand generation programs and marketing activities across all Regions and Channels including direct and retail.
Mr. Ferrand began his career with Dell as vice president and general manager of South Asia, where he was responsible for leading Dell's business in India, Malaysia, Singapore, Taiwan, and Thailand. He also played an instrumental role in developing Dell's distributor partnerships in the South Asia/Developing Markets Group including Indonesia, the Philippines, Vietnam, Pakistan and Sri Lanka. Subsequently, he added Australia and New Zealand to his portfolio when he assumed the role of president of Asia Pacific South. With 15 years of experience in the global telecommunications industry, Mr. Ferrand brings to Dell in-depth knowledge in business development, sales, marketing, product and operations management; garnered from the various leadership positions which he held over his extensive career.
He joins Dell from Nokia Networks Asia Pacific, where as vice president and general manager, he led direct marketing, sales, delivery and maintenance of mobile systems across the region generating annual sales exceeding US$766 million.
At AT&T where he spent a decade, Mr. Ferrand drove strategy and business development in its European business following a successful career in its US operations directing network capacity planning, product management and international sales. Previously, he directed product and technology development as vice president and general manager at Alcatel growing the Internet Terminals business as a start-up to that of a thriving operation.
Mr. Ferrand holds a Master's degree in engineering from Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Télécommunications in Paris, France.
