Jan Geldmacher (born in 1962) has been Chief Commercial Officer of the Enterprise Business Unit at Vodafone D2 GmbH since 1 September 2008.
From 2005 to 2008, he was Chief Executive Officer at British Telecom BT (Germany) in Munich.
Prior to that, from 2001 to 2004, Jan Geldmacher was Member of the Management Board / Executive Board of T-Systems in Frankfurt.
In 2000 he spent one year as Head of International Networks & Joint Ventures (NI3) at Deutsche Telekom in Bonn.
Between 1999 and 2000, he held the function of Vice President Network Operations & International Support Telecommunications Services (TCS) at Debis Systemhaus in Leinfelden-Echterdingen.
Jan Geldmacher was Key Account Manager, Head of Cologne/Düsseldorf Branch and subsequently Head of Sales Partner Management in the period 1996 to 1999.
After graduating with a degree in Business Administration in 1990, he joined NCR GmbH/AT&T Global Information Solutions as Sales Trainee. He remained there until 1995 in various management roles at different company sites, his final function prior to leaving the company being in Global Sales Support at NCR GmbH/AT & GIS in Germany and the USA.
