Georg Ell is the general manager of Yammer, EMEA. He is responsible for scaling the business across the region and leading a fast growing, hyper-passionate team of sales and customer success managers. Georg was previously the pan-EMEA sales director at Yammer.
Prior to joining Yammer, Georg served as a European sales executive for Microsoft Online Services. While there, he was responsible for Microsoft's Business Productivity Online Services sales across Europe and overseeing several large, strategic accounts. Georg won multiple awards for his work with global customers and partners.
Outside of work, Georg's proudest achievement is his participation as Core Crew in the Global Challenge - known as "The World's Toughest Yacht Race" - racing around the world in an all-amateur crew and raising £5,000 for charity. Georg graduated from St. John's College, Cambridge University with a degree in Social and Political Science with Management Studies.
